Homework

Homework books will be sent home after Autumn half term (beginning of November).

The homework has been designed to reflect what children have been learning in school and allows them to consolidate their understanding. The homework menu allows the children to choose areas that they wish to focus on based on their enjoyment and areas they would like to further develop.

In the homework book, we will also include a list of the times tables that we will be practising and testing in Autumn 2.

Spellathon spellings will be sent out at the beginning of each half term for your child to practise at home. We will then do a spelling test (The Great Findern Spellathon) at the end of each half term so that we can assess which words the children know, and where they need some further support.
