Summer

Our Summer term learning:

• English: Our class story will be On the way home by Jill Murphy. We will continue to practise constructing sentences using the correct punctuation as well as using adjectives to construct descriptive and exciting sentences.
• Maths:  We will be learning about multiplication (2, 5 and 10 times tables) and division. We will then progress our place value understanding to numbers to 100! At the end of the term we will explore time and money.
• PSHE: This term we will be exploring being responsible and relationships.
• Art:  In art we will be exploring self portraits and artists such as Paul Klee and Andy Warhol.
• Science: This term we will continue learning about the seasons and explore Spring and Summer. We will then move onto looking at plants and learning the different parts of a plant.
• RE: In RE we will be learning all about belonging. We will explore how different religions show that they belong.

• P.E:  This term in PE we will explore athletics, wall and net games, team building and striking and fielding games.
