Year 5 Residential

Our Year 5 Residential to White Hall is an unforgettable three-day adventure and a highlight of the Findern Primary School experience. Staying away from home for two nights, children challenge themselves through an exciting programme of outdoor activities including caving, rock scrambling, climbing, the zip wire, ropes course, the Leap of Faith and a night hike.

Throughout the residential, pupils are encouraged to step outside their comfort zones, developing independence, resilience, confidence, and teamwork. Whether supporting a friend when rock scrambling, navigating underground caves, or celebrating personal achievements on the climbing wall, every challenge provides opportunities for growth.

The experience perfectly embodies our school values of Imagine, Adventure, Together. Children imagine what they can achieve, embrace new adventures with enthusiasm and courage and work together to overcome challenges and create lasting memories.

By the end of the trip, pupils return with increased self-belief, stronger friendships, and a real sense of pride in all they have accomplished. It is an experience they remember for years to come.
