Spring term

This term our topic is .

In English we will be reading How to Train Your Dragon, by Cressida Cowell, exploring language features and then learning to write instructions to trap and train a dragon.

• Maths:  we will be following the Maths Mastery approach to learn about multiplication and division.  Our target is to learn all the times tables up to 12 x 12 by February half term.
• Science:  we are learning about states of matter and the human digestive system this term.
• Geography:  we will be learning about the United Kingdom and our region.  We will learn to locate and name the different regions and cities, explore topographical features, including hills and rivers, on maps, familiarise ourselves with human and physical characteristics and will also practise using the compass directions.
• P.E:  this term we will be learning how to play tag rugby and taking part in dance.
