Welcome to Findern Primary School
Findern Primary School is situated on the outskirts of Findern village and includes pupils from 4 to 11 years old. We are a friendly and caring village Primary school, concerned with the welfare and pastoral care of our pupils as well as the academic standards they achieve. The staff endeavour to bring out the best in each child and have high expectations of pupils in terms of academic progress and behaviour.
Children, Staff, Governors and the local community are proud to be part of Findern Primary School and share the values it holds. Everyone is respectful of each other and work together to create experiences and opportunities that enable our pupils to achieve their full potential at school and beyond.
Our vision is that our pupils will develop values, knowledge, skills, confidence and the love of learning that they will continue to use throughout their lives. This is best achieved through a strong partnership between Findern Primary School, the pupils and parents/carers.
At Findern Primary School we are very fortunate to run our own Forest School and as such utilise our surroundings to develop our pupil’s understanding of nature, the environment and science in a real context.
