School Games Mark

As part of our aim and ambition to improve PE and Sport at Findern, each year we apply for the School Games Kite Mark. This is a national government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community. Participating in this process allows us to evaluate our PE provision and assists us in developing an action plan for future progress. Each year we apply online and aim to improve PE and Sport at our school by having stronger links with sport in the local community, improving the quality of our PE teaching, including more children in clubs and competitions and making PE and sport even more fun and inclusive for the children at Findern Primary School and Nursery.
