Today, we want you to use a mirror for this maths activity!
When we look in the mirror, we see our reflection. So when you put some objects in front of a mirror, you can see their reflection and it looks like there are double the amount of objects.
With some help from an adult, could you find a mirror to use and 10 small objects? You could chose some Lego, animals, crayons, anything that is small enough to put in front of your mirror.
Now place 2 objects in front of your mirror, does it still look like there are 2 objects, or does it look like they have doubled and you have now got 4?
Have a go with the rest of your objects and write down all of the different doubling number sentences as you go.
